Type II Portland Cement - also referred to as common, ordinary, or regular cement - is the most commonly used in general construction for everything from sidewalks to high-rise buildings, it also serves well in special applications, such as roller- compacted concrete, flowable fill, soil cement and waste stabilization, Type II Cement is used when moderate sulfate resistance or moderate heat of hydration is required. CPCC produces Type II Cement at our Colton and Mojave cement plants, and it is available in bulk and in 94-pound sacks.
